Did Joe Biden Not Wear a Mask on a Plane?
A viral photograph is from November 2019, before the pandemic.
A viral tweet from Richard Grenell, former acting director of national intelligence, claimed to show Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden not wearing a mask while on a plane:
The claim was further elevated by conservative commentator Mark Levin:

Richard Grenell @RichardGrenell
Washington, DC phony! @JoeBiden doesn’t wear a mask on a plane - but wears one OUTSIDE!? https://t.co/7q0LG09bOqContrary to what Grenell suggested in his tweet, the picture is almost a year old. While it was used in a Vogue article published on October 30, 2020, the article notes that it shows Biden with his traveling national press secretary Remi Yamamoto on a flight to South Carolina in November 2019.

Just another example of the failure of the Obama / Biden administration. First they didn't leave the Trump administration a vaccine for the non existent virus, and now we find out they didn't wear masks to prevent it from spreading before it existed. Liberals, man!
Argh! How could anyone *not* suspect first thing that a photo of Biden not masking as he says he does is probably from before Covid?
My poor husband likes Ben Shapiro, and the way Shapiro is spinning for Trump right now is about equally ridiculous. Claims like Democrats have no policy for managing Covid except for their blind faith that, if Trump loses, Covid magically disappears(!). That words coming out of Trump's mouth like "a choice between a Trump boom or a Biden lockdown" don't actually mean what they say but instead mean merely that Trump's administration offers a variety of policy choices for managing Covid while Biden's would offer only one, lockdown (which isn't even true by itself, but also isn't what Trump was saying).
