Has a Candidate Ever Lost Florida and Ohio but Won the Election?
Yes: John F. Kennedy.
In his latest tweet challenging the outcome of the election, President Donald Trump claimed that no presidential candidate has won both Ohio and Florida but still lost the election, as he did:
Trump’s loss despite wins in Ohio and Florida is not without precedent, however: In 1960 John F. Kennedy lost both states to Richard Nixon but won the Electoral College 303-219.

Maybe someone can give him a fake medal for this or something and pat him on the head. He's really scraping the bottom of the barrel for his talking points.
Odd framing on this tidbit. It would be less confusing to compare like to like. Which is to say loser - loser or winner - winner. John Kennedy isn’t the answer to Trump. Better retort “ in @960 Nixon won OH and FL and still lost”
