    Welcome, Wendy! As a native Texan, can I just state for the record the whole taco capital argument is ridiculous? There are wonderful tacos all over the state! That said, Mi Tierra is hands down the best TexMex restaurant on the planet. I’m interested in the first question, as a former reporter and editor of a local newspaper.

    Hi Wendy, as a native Texan (in the “other” Washington, the state) who never moved back:
    - was the move back to San Antonio what you hoped?
    - if you hosted a dinner (or dialogue) between former coastal friends and Texas relatives - how would you start things off?
    - what has been your favorite Olympic moment so far?
    - what is your favorite Texas wine?

    Wendy, does that mean that your children's age was a factor in the decision?

    Is San Antonio where you're originally from, or some other part of Texas? I'd be interested in hearing about the different regions of Texas and what distinguishes them. I've been to Austin a couple times, and Dallas once, all on business. But I don't know much about the state beyond what I read in the news. Given how big Texas is, I'm sure there's a lot about the state that I'm missing.
