We are proud to announce that The Dispatch has named Zachary Shemtob as executive editor of SCOTUSblog, significantly strengthening our legal and editorial offerings. In this role, Shemtob will uphold SCOTUSblog’s longstanding reputation for accuracy and integrity while guiding its evolution in the rapidly changing digital media landscape.

“I am thrilled that Zach is joining the SCOTUSblog team,” said Amy Howe, Dispatch reporter and founder of SCOTUSblog. “As a longtime student of the Supreme Court, a practicing lawyer, and an all-around great guy (and fellow Hoya lawyer), he is the perfect person to help shepherd SCOTUSblog into its next chapter.”

Zachary brings nearly a decade of legal experience to the position, most recently specializing in white collar defense and complex commercial litigation. His academic background includes extensive research and publications on the Supreme Court and jurisprudence, reflecting his deep understanding of legal philosophy and its practical applications.

“I am honored to be joining SCOTUSblog as executive editor,” said Shemtob. “I am an obsessive of the site and a great admirer of Amy’s reporting and analysis, and I cannot wait to work with her and the rest of the staff to bring SCOTUSblog into the future.”

Zachary’s addition strengthens our commitment to providing our members with the most thorough reporting and analysis of the Supreme Court. Stay tuned for more announcements as we continue to expand our legal coverage with exceptional talent and exclusive content for Dispatch members.
