Dispatch Live: Capturing the Latino Vote

Join us tonight at 8 p.m. ET for our weekly livestreamed conversation.

Tonight’s Dispatch Live will focus on the myth of the Latino vote monolith. Jamie Weinstein will kick things off by speaking to Mark Hugo Lopez, director of race and ethnicity research at Pew Research Center. Then, Mike Madrid, co-host of the Latino Vote podcast, and Julio Cotto, senior vice president of the National Hispanic Institute, will join Jamie and Victoria Holmes for a discussion on the generational divides between voting patterns. David Drucker will then join to talk about his experience on the campaign trail and what to look out for in 2024.

On the Agenda:

  • Latino voting demographics in America
  • Polling numbers: on paper versus on the ground
  • Generational divides
  • Where faith plays a role
