Fred is the author of Wine and The White House: A History, a fascinating (and beautiful) book that, as the name suggests, explores the long history of our presidents and the wines they served (and consumed). Fred is a master storyteller who combines detailed historical research with great human stories, and we’re excited to have him join us to discuss the book—and more.
I asked Fred if he would share with Dispatch members a small selection of wines that make an appearance in the book and that you might purchase in advance of our conversation, should you care to enjoy a glass of wine while you listen in.
