In a viral tweet, Sean Hannity said that Rep. Ilhan Omar told people “you don’t have to be registered to vote” in Minnesota.
Hannity’s framing of the quote removes it from its proper context. The quote comes from this tweet:
Minnesota has same-day voter registration, meaning that citizens can show up to a polling place on Election Day and as long as they have the necessary documents they can register and then cast their vote.
