To start this Dispatch Live, Jonah, Kevin, and Declan partake in the “lowest form of punditry” by making predictions about an event that is happening one hour after said predictions—the State of the Union. After that, the trio discussed the Chinese spy balloon, 2024 GOP presidential politics, and the future of Kamala Harris. Does she have any chance of being the Democratic nominee? Will Trump run as an independent if he’s not the nominee? Is Dick Cheney the best American vice president of the 21st century? Watch the video to find out.

    Jonah really not good at this moderator stuff - think he's excellent with guests on his podcast - but these group chats are more cumbersome yet less substantial beasts than one on one chats - and Jonah sucks at it - so I vote that if Sarah can't do it ya don't even bother

    In reference to "Is Dick Cheney the best American vice president of the 21st century?", Jonah said "Is "21st century is kind of limiting, 'cause we're really only talking about three people?"

    Make that five -- Al Gore was VP for the first 19.5 days of 2001. Then Cheney, Biden, Pence, and Harris.
