Dear Dispatch readers,

Thank you to everyone who participated in April’s Monthly Mailbag with deputy managing editor Wendy Lane Cook. To read about her time covering the Olympics, her love of crime novels, and her decision to move back home to Texas, be sure to click here.

This month, Grayson Logue, deputy editor of The Morning Dispatch, has raised his hand to take on all of your questions.

Grayson joined The Dispatch in early 2023 after several years at a Washington-based consulting firm. Prior to that, he spent time as an editor at Providence Magazine and a research assistant at National Review.

As you’re thinking about questions you have for Grayson, here are some suggested topics:

  • Becoming a new dog owner;
  • Living in New York for nearly a decade;
  • Working on TMD and the importance of “9 a.m. questions”;
  • Graduate studies in history and his favorite history books;
  • Coffee and cocktails;
  • The art of making a drink menu for house parties;
  • The best cafes and bars on the East Coast; and
  • Picking up golf, PGA versus LIV, the rise of YouTube golf, Scottie Scheffler’s crazy run—anything golf-related!

Drop your questions for Grayson in the comments section on this post, and keep an eye out for an email with all of his answers at the end of the month!
