Dear members,
After a packed Dispatch Live weekend, our hosts will be taking the night off. We will return to our regularly scheduled cocktail and punditry hour next week.
But in case you missed it, The Dispatch hosted two shows this weekend.
First, we covered the war in Ukraine, marking the second anniversary since the Russian invasion. Steve, Jonah, Declan, and Mary were joined by Bennett Murray and Tim Mak, who are reporting from the front lines. They discussed the trajectory of the war, the implications of America’s domestic squabbles to the fighting, and the state of Vladimir Putin’s regime.
Second, we checked the pulse of the Republican Party and the conservative movement. In a live event hosted by Principles First, Jonah, Steve, Sarah, and Mike wrestled with what it means to be a conservative, whether the RNC even cares, and the prospects of a third party in 2024.
If you have ideas or suggestions for future Dispatch Live discussions (and panelists), please post them in the comments below. In the meantime, you can listen to previous Dispatch Live episodes here, or catch up on new members-only conversations available on The Skiff here, including Jonah’s latest Q&A with members.
Thank you for being a part of The Dispatch community.
