    Thank you, Sarah! This was really good. It made me wonder why we have become so critical of the Supreme Court Justices lately. I just saw that Alito is being accused of taking “gifts” from a wealthy “influencer” who paid for a vacation. (I’m not sure I have that exactly right.) Something tells me that none of this is new, and I’m betting that it happens with all of them to some extent or another.

    I’m wondering if the fact that Congress seems to be so unwilling to do its job, and the Court is being used to make more and more decisions, if that’s the reason we’re suddenly seeing these accusations.

      That and I think because there tends to be an originalist majority some want to delegitimize the court. That way when they try and pack the court it will be easier to accomplish

    Yeah, no, sorry, Donald Trump isn’t more famous than Jesus. In fact, I don’t think there is one person - in the entire world - who has heard the name Donald Trump who has not heard the name Jesus Christ. Setting aside the fact that the Bible is the top-selling book in the history of the world, something like 1/5 of the current human population is Christian. I don’t think even one billion people had heard of Donald Trump until he was president and then they only knew him because he was the guy in charge of the agencies of the most powerful nation in Earth. I would guess that a small minority of the world’s population haven’t heard of Christ, given that they would have to have heard of Christianity. You also forget that it is a minority of the population who are on the internet.

    My home decorating advice, for what it's worth:

    The license plate needs to be displayed as part of a much larger, circular plaque, probably in white enamel, with a red enamel ring along its circumference that includes a red diagonal slash-bar — aka the General Prohibition Sign, the "Nope" symbol, and the "Naw Dawg" graphic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_symbol

    You're displaying that license plate, but you're memorializing its SLAYING. Everyone will get it at a glance.

    (I'm all about the case mementos. I have a one and a quarter-inch eyebolt mated to a one and a half-inch nut that to the touch, snugs up quite tightly — but that a torque wrench would tell you wasn't at all safe to rely upon; a mismatched pair just like it led to one of the biggest personal injury lawsuits I ever tried.)
