So Much Gaslighting

"The international realm is a zone of lawlessness."

Jonah and David French commandeer The Skiff to give their reactions to Israel’s response to the Iranian attacks and explain the shortcomings of deterrence theory.

Jonah Goldberg is editor-in-chief and co-founder of The Dispatch, based in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, enormous lizards roamed the Earth. More immediately prior to that, Jonah spent two decades at National Review, where he was a senior editor, among other things. He is also a bestselling author, longtime columnist for the Los Angeles Times, commentator for CNN, and a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. When he is not writing the G-File or hosting The Remnant podcast, he finds real joy in family time, attending to his dogs and cat, and blaming Steve Hayes for various things.

David French is a columnist for the New York Times. He’s a former senior editor of The Dispatch. He’s the author most recently of Divided We Fall: America's Secession Threat and How to Restore Our Nation.

Adaam James Levin-Areddy is the editorial director for podcasts and multimedia at The Dispatch and is based in New York. Prior to joining the company in 2022, he worked on live shows and documentaries for Axios on HBO, CNN, and NBC News, and was a news editor for Haaretz. He also hosts and produces the Uncertain Things podcast.
