The Dispatch Meet & Greet Event in Chicago

Come meet Sarah, Steve, Declan, and fellow members of The Dispatch community at Midwest Coast Brewing in Chicago for an informal meet and greet event. Members are welcome to bring significant others and are encouraged to invite non-members who might be interested in The Dispatch. We’ll offer special 3-month free trials for anyone who attends as a guest of a member. 

The Dispatch will cover drinks for the first hour and a half of the event then it will be a cash bar. We hope to see you there.

    Is there going to be food provided or do I need to eat on the way?

      Eating on the way in may be the best bet. Snacks are offered at the bar, but nothing too hearty. Plenty of beer, though!

      There's no food on the menu, I'm thinking best to grab something on the way out. I may accidentally get pulled into Shake Shack in Willis Tower if anyone wants to go on a blind date with an internet rando.

    I'm so excited!! My husband and I will be a bit late (and unfashionable) as we're coming from jiu-jitsu class. Can't wait to meet fellow political weirdos in person!

    I hate to pile on but I signed up last Friday and haven't received any email confirming or declining my registration. Should I assume I do not have a ticket if I have not heard back at this point?

    I'm planning on attending. I live in Ohio, but the date syncs nicely with a business trip to Chicago. I'm staying downtown Thursday night and trying to decide to drive or just Uber. Not familiar this this area, but comments here make me wonder. Can anyone help out?

    Still no response from Dispatch staff. Meanwhile, using a Parking App, I can’t find any spots within 6 or 7 blocks so unless there’s additional info about parking I will regretfully not be able to go.

    I will be taking the El from the Loop and then riding Metra from Union back to Naperville Downtown. If anyone is interested in traveling as a group for any/all of those legs, please reply here.
