Private Call with DC’s “China Guy”

An invite-only conversation with Eric Sayers from Beacon Global Strategies

Hello!

As a paid subscriber to The Kitchen Sync, you have access to monthly Zoom calls with some of the most influential and interesting people working at the nexus of technology and national security.

On Monday, January 31st at 7pm, our conversation will be with Eric Sayers, one of the most influential “hidden hands” of American policy in Asia. I’m confident you’ll find this conversation insightful and engaging.

During our chat, I’ll ask Eric about the latest in U.S.-Asia policy; what he thinks will be the key challenges in the region for 2022; and his views on how Congress and the Biden administration are thinking about tech competition and business in China. We’ll also have time for audience Q&A.

By way of background, Eric is Senior Vice President at Beacon Global Strategies (BGS), where he leads the firm’s Indo-Pacific Practice. In this role, he advises some of the world’s largest and most influential companies as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of modern markets and geopolitics.

Prior to joining BGS, Eric was a Special Assistant to the Commander at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM). In this capacity, he advised the commander on strategic engagements and special initiatives in the Indo-Pacific theater. From 2014-2016, Mr. Sayers served as a Professional Staff Member with the majority staff of the Senate Armed Services Committee, where he managed the Indo-Pacific Command policy portfolio.
