    Thank you for having Dr Pipes on last night. Anytime you have an opportunity to avoid the circus that is domestic politics, take it.

    Although I was a bit alarmed by one of his answers. An audience member (sorry, I forgot who) asked if the fear of losing domestic support would make the current administration hesitant to act in the Red Sea. His answer was something like: ”Yeah, that may play a part, but the more important factor is probably not wanting to rock the boat while trying to re-engage with Iran on the JCPOA negotiations.”

    If that plays any role in US action/inaction to the attacks in the Red Sea, the Biden administration is more deranged than I thought. How can shouting “Death to America” and supporting any terrorist in the Arab world with a garage big enough to store missiles, not be enough proof to realize that is not worth attempting good faith negotiations with Iran? Now, they are supporting a group severely impacting international shipping lanes and we are going to continue to do the JCPOA eggshell dance???

    Good job moderating, Kevin. But I was surprised to hear you say that you have not seen the Christmas movie (Die Hard) all the way through. Alan Rickman is the ultimate foreign terrorist bad guy. You should remedy that! 😉😅

      It's worse than that Eric. Domestic politics is taking priority over the clear risk to American servicemen. You can't be any more craven than that.
