    Listening to this podcast had me ready to volunteer for and give money to a Christie campaign. So refreshing to have someone willing to take Trump head-on. I thought his criticisms of Trump’s presidency were effective as well. This man knows how to campaign. To hell with the Cheeto Jesus toadies who excuse behavior that is unquestionably inexcusable.

    Great conversation! I agree with another comment that I would have liked to hear his views in Ukraine. However, given his criticism of Trump’s unwillingness to stand for Ukraine in the CNN town hall discussion last night, I would guess that Christie is pro-Ukraine.

    Ukraine wasn't brought up, but the fact that Christie supported Trump in 2020 and didn't hit Trump's record with Ukraine is concerning to me.

    I will vote for a pro-Ukraine Democrat before I vote for an anti-Ukraine Republican (where I put Trump) or a tepid-on-Ukraine Republican. Ignoring Ukraine is not a good look to me. Candidates can only keep the powder dry for so long before the opportunity is gone to show they are ready to hit the ground running on handling Ukraine like an adult.

    I will most likely be voting in the Michigan Republican primary. Deal with it, candidates.

    Great podcast I hope Christie gets in the race. We need someone to go after Trump and everyone else seems to be scared to do it.

    When I first heard this episode on the Apple podcast app, Christie's answer to the Social Security question at the end of the interview was cutoff! Now Im glad to hear he will advocate reform!! And me taking SS in 2 years! I think I like this guy!

    Good interview. I can see where Christie might be able to talk in the blunt and plain language that seems to appeal to populists. I suspect he has a similar problem to Pence in that too many groups have a built-in bias against supporting him.

    Trump is that kid in high who is always threatening to fight until someone says ok . Then they run. Someone needs to get on stage and call him a fat, fake, old, loser. So Governor Christie is right, he doesn’t want to defend his record and will hide from debates as long as he can.

    Excellent interview, and based on his responses, I would vote for Chris Cristie. I wish he hadn’t supported Trump, but so did the others who are currently running or looking like they will. If we want someone who is willing to stand up to Trump now, and someone who is willing to be honest about Social Security (because I am), then I think he’s worth consideration.
