Come meet Steve, Audrey, David Drucker, and fellow members of The Dispatch community at Café Hollander Tosa Village in Wauwatosa for an informal meet and greet gathering at 6 p.m. CT on August 22, 2023—the night before the first GOP primary debate. Each guest will get two drink tickets on us.
We’ll have a discussion and Q&A session with Steve, Audrey and David, with casual socializing before and after the program. They’ll talk about the news of the day and give an update on all things Dispatch, so bring your questions!
We hold these regional events for two reasons. The first and most important? To meet and thank the people who pay our salaries and make our journalism possible. So, come, hang out a bit and let us buy you a drink (or two).
But there’s another important reason, too: We want to expand The Dispatch community. So, we strongly encourage you to invite non-members who might be interested in The Dispatch. We remain surprised and heartened that our Dispatch community has grown as quickly as it has. Our ability to expand the important work we’re doing depends in part on that continued growth. And in this fraught political moment where news consumers don’t know who to trust, we’ve found that people still trust friends and relatives to help steer them toward sane news options. Don’t worry, this will be a low-pressure affair—no what-will-it-take-to-get-you-into-this-membership sales pitches from us. We’ll simply offer special three-month free trials for anyone who attends as a guest of a member.
