Dispatch Live Is Tonight

President Biden will address Congress, so we're getting the gang together.

Join Sarah, Steve, David, and Jonah this Wednesday night, April 28, for another edition of Dispatch Live.

President Biden will address a joint session of Congress—his first such address and a stand-in for a State of the Union address. Public opinion polls show Biden’s approval rating hovering around 52 percent. What will Biden emphasize as his achievements in his 100 days as president? Will he negotiate with Republicans on infrastructure? What are his next steps on Iran? What will he say about race, guns, China, the economy, COVID-19?

This edition of Dispatch Live will be a two-parter: The team will go live at 8:45 p.m. ET / 5:45 p.m. PT to preview the president’s speech. Then, starting 5 minutes after the end of the Senator Tim Scott’s presentation of the GOP response, the team will go live again to break down what we heard.

When: Wednesday, April 28

Pre-Speech Start Time: 8:45 p.m. ET / 5:45 p.m. PT

Post-Speech Wrap-Up*: 5 mins after the conclusion of the GOP rebuttal
