    Another great podcast. I do wonder if it is as fun and compelling to those who are not lawyers (or in my case a recovering lawyer) or pop culture nerds but in the end . . . I don't care! Keep up the good work.

    I agree about the relative volumes. I wanted to turn it down because of David's volume, but then I couldn't hear Sarah. (Nothing personal about either person's comments!)

    I found both perspectives on the late Kobe Bryant interesting, and thank you for mentioning the seven other people he took with him, as well as his daughter.

    Several things I've read in the last couple of days have mentioned his attendance at Catholic Mass. I'm curious as to whether he is being excoriated and written out of the historical record due to his participation with the Catholic Church. I thought "everyone" agreed that only hatey hating haters are involved with a group that says, "Sexual immorality is immoral."

    Is Mr. Kobe's memoria being damnatio'd all over Twitter, or is there something about him that gives him a pass for what is widely, in that milieu, considered "bigotry" worthy of death?

      Kobe is being revered all across Twitter. The outpouring has been astonishing. People are shattered.

        I hope you, Sarah, and your tech staff find the ideal volumes. I'm a church musician, so I deeply sympathize with sound difficulties. "Too much Ruth, not enough Kurt!" "But last week we had the same settings, and you said, 'Too much Kurt, not enough Ruth!' Gah!"

        Do you have any insight into why Mr. Bryant is being treated differently from others with a "wrong" religious affiliation? Is it a different "commentariat," so to speak, with a different focus?

          The tone is being set by his peers, who include some of the most famous and influential people on the planet. They loved him. It's also being set by the millions of kids who idolized him.

    Don't know if this is the best way to do this: Can you manage to make it so that David and Sarah's mic levels are the same? It's tough when David's voice is so much louder than Sarah's.

    I would love to hear a segment regarding the SCOTUS “public charge” order and its possible impact on judge shopping.
