    Can't the U.S. and its allies do to China, Russia, Iran and N. Korea all the things, and more, that they do to us? Is there any reason we can't?

      Yes. But that doesn’t lessen the impact of what they can do to us.

        We can have a GREATER impact on them now and at any time, and always prevail. Why don't we? There are no over all physical constraints, nor ANY moral constraints.

          Well, (1) are you arguing for some sort of pre-emptive attack? and (2) our national security leaders [including defense planners] do not always share your optimism about the inevitability of our success. The DNI just testified in public that both Russia and China could massively damage our critical infrastructure ... that's no small thing.
