    An interesting discussion. It’s good having a weekend podcast.

    This actually suggests that McCarthy is negotiating with his party rather than imposing a top-down bill for which members must fall in line. Seems that this is what we want to have happen: giving all the GOP members a say in what is passed.

    A nice dive into the weeds, thanks.

    Why would the environmentalist Democrats agree to extend the legacy credits for biofuels in bill that everyone knows will not become law and thereby give the Republicans a legislative victory? Seems to me Democrat leadership would have put the cabash on that maneuver.
