Trump on Their Minds

Is Trump inevitable?

It’s been a week for the former president: new polls showing him beating President Biden, an already notorious CNN town hall, and a verdict on the E. Jean Carroll lawsuit.  Sarah, Steve, and Jonah gather to collectively sigh at the seeming inevitabilities of the 2024 race, the Biden family’s international dealings, and the bipartisan hypocrisies about ethics in government. Also: will someone ever take the economy seriously again?

Jonah Goldberg is editor-in-chief and co-founder of The Dispatch, based in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, enormous lizards roamed the Earth. More immediately prior to that, Jonah spent two decades at National Review, where he was a senior editor, among other things. He is also a bestselling author, longtime columnist for the Los Angeles Times, commentator for CNN, and a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. When he is not writing the G-File or hosting The Remnant podcast, he finds real joy in family time, attending to his dogs and cat, and blaming Steve Hayes for various things.

Sarah Isgur is a senior editor at The Dispatch and is based in northern Virginia. Prior to joining the company in 2019, she had worked in every branch of the federal government and on three presidential campaigns. When Sarah is not hosting podcasts or writing newsletters, she’s probably sending uplifting stories about spiders to Jonah, who only pretends to love all animals.

Steve Hayes is the editor and CEO of The Dispatch.
